TenFourFox has some integrated ad blocking that is pretty good and keeps a lot of crap that litters new websites out so you can load a lot of newer websites. One nice thing about these machines is they are new enough that you should be able to connect to your network wirelessly and trade files. I can download direct to my iBook if I want but usually I fetch the files on one of my newer systems and then use file sharing to send everything over. Macintosh Garden even still has regular-old non-encrypted http support if you want to access it via an old browser directly on your G4.
